About Eric
Eric Reikenis is deeply rooted in Florida’s Treasure Coast community—having made Port St. Lucie his home since 2009 after growing up in Palm Beach County. With a degree in physical therapy from South University, Eric spent years serving patients across hospital, rehab, and outpatient settings. It was there he developed a strong belief in integrity, accountability, and service—values he carries into every part of his life today.
Eric currently serves on the Port St. Lucie Planning & Zoning Commission, where he works to ensure that growth in our city is responsible, balanced, and benefits residents first. He has seen firsthand the importance of thoughtful planning and smart infrastructure decisions to protect quality of life and prevent traffic and overcrowding from outpacing development.
Outside of city service, Eric is active in the community as a youth soccer coach, mentoring local kids and helping them build teamwork, discipline, and confidence on and off the field. He believes strong families and engaged citizens are the heart of a strong city.

His priorities are simple: keep neighborhoods safe, manage growth wisely, and make Port St. Lucie a place where families, seniors, and small businesses can thrive.
Eric is a dedicated public servant and community volunteer who’s ready to bring steady, thoughtful leadership to City Hall and help guide Port St. Lucie toward an even stronger future.
